In short, I'm back to work, my cat died on April 10, and I have the flu. (sorry for the bad news)

What have I been up to...lots! Lately I've been getting into different styles of art-apothecaries and candy inspired pieces, lots of color!

Sorry I haven't been updating, I've been posting mainly on twopixiedolls.blogspot.com
I've been thinking of deleting this blog just because I don't see as much of a use for it anymore, but it does have some photos and blog posts on it that I don't want to lose.

Just giving you a heads up in case I decide to let this little blog go and focus mainly on the TWo PiXie DoLLs one.

Wow! It's been a little over a month since I posted on this blog! I've been posting on our main blog (http://twopixiedolls.blogspot.com) so much I forgot about Hidden Enchantments! And 13 followers! Thank you~I feel a bit guilty for not posting more!



So let's catch you up-the last month of my life-

-bought Christmas gifts
-watched Twilight movie
-have become obsessed with Twilight movie
-making Twilight art, selling it on ebay
-bought amber immortal contact lenses on vampfangs.com so I could look like one of the Cullens (from Twilight, and I have the whole flippy hair thing going on too, so I look kind of like Alice)
-am still obsessed with Twilight (getting the main theme here?)



I can't believe it's December 13th already! And we have snow here, which is lovely.

Although, I now want to move to Forks, Washington (site of Twilight...please help me, I have a disease...Twilightitis)



So, let all know that I came up with that, in case the phrase becomes hugely popular, I came up with "Twilightitis".

Okay, so I know Twilight and vampires aren't everyone's thing, but since this is my blog, I can post about what I want. (a little selfish, I know)
I've always loved vampire movies (not really gory ones, I think the goriest was Underworld, but I love those movies for the romance)



So, this should catch you up. My brain lately is 1% sleep, 1% other, and 98% Twilight. *siiiiighhh* Forgive me, I'm crazy.

So...went shopping again yesterday...6 hours of walking, but soo worth it!
I got so much stuff, spent too much money and came home with loads of delicious things! (Delicious as in amazingly awesome, not as in actually edible. Just thought I'd clarify) I am lussssting after everything Juicy Couture, but my budget will not allow. I really Really REALLY (really reallY) want the Juicy Couture Fairytale bracelet ($135.00) and I was eyeing Juicy Couture cupcake candies and other cupcake themed things in Bloomingdale's, but alas, all I can do is dream, because I'm saving my money for almost a year to buy my family a vacation. (We can't afford it otherwise, they're all counting on me) (And I know we're only going to go to South Dakota like we always did for vacations in the past, but we'll be together) So I've been saving now, and from January-May, every single paycheck I get all goes towards vacation. *sigh* And the checks I have now are to buy Christmas gifts.

As much as I want that bracelet (and other Juicy Couture things), it would be selfish of me to only think of myself.
I'm glad I have my family, and this holiday season, we'll all be together.

Do you want to see my to-do list? (You'll regret it, trust me)

-Make art for Lollishops
-Make art for ebay
-Make a few art pieces to donate for silent auction at work (money goes to charity)
-Finish swap/send package when assigned a partner (I just finished putting everything together, I'm doing a Scavenger Hunt swap on swap-bot.com)

Thursday-Go birthday shopping for mom w/ dad (I pick out all the gifts, he pays for it, he feels like he picked them out, and I pretend like he did. Mom's happy, and all is well)
Friday (Halloween!)-Halloween party in my room (yeah, I'm a dork.) Set up food and beverages, candy, play board games (it's been a long time since I played a board game!), exchange Halloween gifts w/ Mom, watch Halloween themed movie
Saturday (My 20th birthday!!)-Go to Mall of America! Buy myself lots of stuff (that part's easy), come home, unwrap presents, order food, eat, and relax
Sunday-Head to an art show, check it out & see if we want to be in it next year

and I can relax a little starting the following Monday, except I'll still be creating for Lollishops and ebay, and then Thanksgiving and Christmas come, and there's the shopping for that, and..*sigh*

The high point of today was-
snow!!
We didn't have enough to actually accumulate on the ground, but it snowed all day! I was so excited! I love snow.

Well, off to bed I go! I have to work tomorrow, but I'm sure the week will fly by, I can definitely say I won't be bored!

Inspired by the amazing and odd creatures I just discovered (post below), I just had to create some of my own (but little wee ones)

A wee creature from The Enchanted Forest...more soon to come, as the creatures are gathering and coming out. I'm keeping this one for myself, she was just too afraid to leave the comfort of the forest
A mermaid (I won't make more of these, just was having fun. I'll be making the creatures similiar to the one above and below this mermaid) I gave her to my mom

Almost creepy! I didn't alter this picture at all, the flash made my eye look eerie, like it was glowing. BOO!

Speeder insisted on climbing me and then sitting perched on my back.

Snowball is doing much better!! His face is a little swollen, but he's walking on his leg now barely limping, and he's eating hard food. (We had him eating some soft food for a while because it hurt is jaw too much to eat hard food)


I gotta work tomorrow..and it's 11:21 right now (and I get up at 5:00am!!) so I better get to bed and sleeeeep. Plus, I haven't even made those ATC's I'm giving away..and I have an unfinished mermaid project waiting for me in my studio..(and I gotta do birthday shopping ..argh will the list never end!) (and I'm not even 20 yet!! Though I'm super excited I turn 20 on November 1st!!! WOOT! I'll have to do a special birthday post. If I forget, you'll have to blame it on lack of sleep)

It seems like it's been months since I made an art piece! (I know, it's only been a week) That's the longest I've gone besides Christmas time without creating! I think I'm going through withdrawl. It's just been tough, with work, being busy, and getting a little virus. I do have a few art projects you haven't seen, but I'm itching to make new ones! I've printed some new photos and am ready to start creating. Now, to find the time and energy....
